How we recommend
Short answer
The quiz does not score you or pick an agent automatically. It saves your 8 answers. A recommendation is then written from them, with help from AI drafting tools, and a person at Average User approves it before it is emailed to you. It can recommend Grok Bot, Muse, Dots, or "not yet."
Step 1: you answer 8 questions
- What you do for work
- What kind of business it is
- What eats up most of your time
- What you hate doing
- Phone, computer, or both
- What you want most: more money, more time, or both
- What you could spend each month: $0, about $20, about $30 to $40, or $100 or more
- What worries you: private info, bank or money accounts, messing up with customers, too hard to use, wasting money, or something else
Step 2: your answers are saved privately
When you press send, your answers are stored in private storage and copied to a private sheet so we can review them. Nothing is decided at this point, and nothing is shown back to you on screen. See privacy for exactly what is kept.
Step 3: a recommendation is drafted
A draft is written from your own answers, with help from AI tools. It looks at the jobs you named, whether you work mostly on a phone or a computer, your budget, and your goal, and it answers each worry you checked. Where it helps, we look up the kind of work you do first.
Step 4: a person approves it
Every verdict is reviewed by a person at Average User before it is sent. Nothing goes out on its own. The goal is to reply within 24 hours.
What shapes the answer
- Budget: we stay inside the range you picked. If you picked free only, we point to free options or say "not yet."
- Phone or computer: some agents are phone-first, some work best on a computer. See the comparison.
- Your worries: each one you check is answered directly, and the plan starts with low-risk jobs. We never ask for your passwords or bank details.
- "Not yet" is allowed: if repeat busywork is not eating your week, we will say so.
